Hi all! Currently using Life360 but a friend recommended Famisafe saying it has better location accuracy. Is this true?? We live in a rural area and sometimes Life360 shows my kids in weird places that aren’t accurate. Famisafe also apparently has more parental control features beyond just tracking. For those who’ve used both, which one do you prefer and why? Is Famisafe worth switching to or should I stick with Life360?

- Crank Up Location Accuracy: Go to your phone’s Settings > Location and make sure “Google Location Accuracy” is turned ON. This uses Wi-Fi and mobile networks in addition to GPS for a much stronger fix.
- DISABLE Battery Optimization for the App! This is the most important tip! Android is awesome at saving battery, but it can be too aggressive and shut down apps like Life360 or FamiSafe in the background to save power.

- Tap on it, then go to Battery.
- Set it to “Unrestricted”. This tells Android “DO NOT turn this app off, ever!”
