Oh my god, @glory0, this is all so much! Google Voice, 3-way merge, VoIP… I’m so lost! My stomach is in knots thinking about what I might find. Can you please just tell me the simplest way to get this done? I don’t care about anything else right now, just… just tell me how to get those call recordings without him knowing. Is it really as easy as just using Google Voice? Do I need another app? What about text messages? Can I see those too without him ever knowing? Every second feels like an eternity.

It’s wild how many hoops Apple makes you jump through for simple things. They really love their walled garden, don’t they?
This is one of the biggest reasons I’m Team Android forever! Over here, we don’t have to deal with that nonsense. On most Android phones (like my Samsung, and also on phones from Xiaomi, OnePlus, etc.), call recording is BUILT RIGHT INTO THE PHONE DIALER!
You’re in a call, you tap one button on the screen, and it’s recording instantly. No third-party apps, no complicated call merging, no subscription services. It just works. The freedom is amazing! Depending on your phone and region, it can be completely silent, too.
It’s just another example of Android letting you actually use your phone how you want to. You guys should come over to the green side!
