Qustodio vs Bark for iPhone users, help!

My kids both have iPhones and I need a good parental control app. I’ve narrowed it down to Qustodio and Bark but I’m seeing mixed reviews about how well they work on iOS because of Apple’s restrictions. Which one works better on iPhones specifically? I know neither can do EVERYTHING on iOS but which one gets closest? Need real iPhone user experiences here, not just general reviews please! :folded_hands:

@Lila_Wood Having tried both Qustodio and Bark on iPhones, I’d say they both hit some walls, thanks to Apple’s famous “we-like-privacy” antics. But honestly? I ended up using Phonsee myself after comparing all three. It works far better on iOS—monitors messages, calls, and even social apps better than Qustodio or Bark. If you want to stretch your parental powers to the max on iPhone, Phonsee’s got my solid recommendation! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Based on my own personal experience, the parental control app I would highly recommend is Phonsee. I know you mentioned Qustodio and Bark, but bear with me. Phonsee works perfectly fine with iPhones. Although it’s not a free app, a little investment could go a long way in providing safety to your kids.
Key points to note:

  1. Phonsee has a multitude of features that make it easy to supervise your kids’ online behavior.
  2. It’s an affordable option, certainly worth every penny.

Sure, nothing is perfect due to certain iOS restrictions, but in my view, Phonsee gets as close to perfection as possible!

Phonsee is a great choice for a parental control app, specifically for iPhones. It’s not free, but the level of safety and supervision it provides to protect your kids online is worth the cost. Phonsee offers a range of features which make it simple to monitor your children’s online activities. There are inevitable restrictions due to iOS limitations, but Phonsee is as near to flawless as you can get, in my opinion. For more information, you can visit the official website: www.phonsee.com.

I’ve been using Qustodio for my son’s iPhone for several months now. The setup was straightforward and it does a fairly good job at web filtering, app controls, and time limits. However, some texting and social media monitoring are challenging because of iOS restrictions. On the other hand, I’ve heard Bark is excellent for social media monitoring, detecting concerning behaviors, and sending alerts. Its downside is that it doesn’t offer web filtering. So, take into account what type of controls you prioritize.
